Perhaps you are not aware that an active prayer chain is in operation in our congregation, and that many people have benefited from the prayers offered for them.  The Board of Deacons is now in the process of updating that prayer chain, and invite you to consider if this is a way you may be willing to serve.

Anyone may request prayers for themselves or for a friend or family member, just by calling Lois at church.  Lois then notifies members of the Prayer Chain, either by phone or email, and they remember these people and their concerns in their prayers.

If you would be willing to be of help to others in this way, please call Lois at church, email Carmen Farwell (johncarmf@aol.com) or give your name to any member of the Board of Deacons.

Each year committee chair people ask for volunteers to be on their committee with little or no response.  A Committee may need just one small job done, but without a decent size committee, even that one job can be very stressful because all the duties lie on just a few people.  There are a variety of committees with numerous types of jobs.  Everyone should find their “nitch” in one of these committees.

I challenge you to find your “nitch.”  Ask yourself, what can I do for my church family and its outreach programs.
